“A book, literary work, etc., containing such a story.”

“The art, technique, or process of narrating, or of telling a story.”

“A story that connects and explains a carefully selected set of supposedly true events,
experiences, or the like, intended to support a particular viewpoint or thesis."(Dictionary.com)
These are the definitions of narrative, as an illustration course student, I’ve searched some fields that a narrative illustrator would be at:
Humorous illustration, comic illustration and comic strip illustration, editorial illustration, book illustration, etc.
In the following frilled that I have listed, the most interesting field of narrative illustration for me is-----Book Illustration. And so it leads me to my research about book illustration.
For the examples of famous professional book illustrators, we have Quentin Blake, a great illustrator and writer, have made illustrations for more than 400 books.
” He is not sure how many books he has illustrated – “I haven’t counted them recently” – but reckons it’s more than 400.” (Sturges, 2020)
Book illustrators usually work with publishers and authors to illustrate text for articles, stories and novels, or write and illustrate their own stories for publication in books.
Artists nowadays always have a personal website to be their portfolio, and it usually presents the artist's representative works and their current career in the art field. This information can give more reference to one's possible future clients, providing career information so that others can understand the artist’s level and abilities in their field, and display their representative works so that others can better understand the artist's art’s style and thus better for the further project collaborations.
